BenQ RL2455HM Used with Wii - Lag?

Hi All,

I'm considering obtaining a BenQ RL2455HM gaming monitor. It has next to no lag. However, to use it with a Wii, I'd have to get a AV adapter (AV>HDMI). I'm worried that might result in additional lag. Does anyone have experience with this and know whether using an adapter would create lag?
