Benefits of owning the 3ds version of smash (and then wiiu)

So in the wiiu section there was a thread about if anyone was not getting the 3DS version and just waiting for the wiiu release. There were few logical choices there but most of them failed to realize the real benefits of owning this version now and both versions at the end of the run.

Now you might add speculative benefits but I'll be directly talking of the real benefits currently present of having this version beforehand.

1. Playing Smash early
2. Having all custom movesets and characters from the get go, I'm pretty sure you will be able to transfer your characters
3.beginner, advanced or casual can test your character before choosing a main to go big on the wiiu. Then proceeded to own everyone who just got the game.
4. early metagame hand's on
5.all mii parts unlocked (read #2)
7.feel for all stages... Omega mode lol
8.meteor smashing early
9.realizing you can kill Lil mac with well planned link boomerang from 0 to 12% sorry mac's users link is your worst nightmare Muahahaha
10.getting the official soundtracks

-Local Multiplayer is what drives me to Smash Bros. It's just a lot of fun, and I'm psyched to play with my little brother.

-I'd say the Wii U (keyword) should have better online than the 3DS.

-We'll have to wait and see what new/different modes the Wii U version brings, but hopefully the 20$ price difference between that and the 3ds version just isn't for better graphics and different stages.

For me the obvious benefit to having the 3DS version was that I travel for work and can play it on my flights. That it came out first doesn't change the fact that I would have gotten it either way.

Smash 3DS is a great game regardless of the Wii U version. People should stop treating the idea of playing it over Smash U like it is something absurd.
