I decided to have sheik be my 2nd main next to puff (I know weird 2 choices to have together), but I was wondering about anything I should do or know as a beginner sheik. As in stages she does well on, best moves ex. Thanks

Needles are amazing, dash attack is amazing, f-tilt is amazing, fair and bair are amazing, dsmash is amazing, dthrow is amazing. Needles are amazing. Chain is horrid, don't go anywhere near Down-B. Don't use a tag, it screws up your recovery. Don't use fsmash much, use up smash situationally when you can tipper. Uair is pretty good. Use dair when comboing off a platform. Learn to boost grab and how to combo and tech-chase after a downthrow. Learn to Shino stall. Needles are amazing. I'm partial to FoD and Dreamland myself, but in general Battlefield FoD and Dreamland are all really good.

NEEDLES ARE AMAZING. Ahem.

Get the 20xx hack pack and practice tech chasing. It's invaluable and Sheik's boost grab is amazing; with a strong techchase game, Sheik can turn the tides of a match with one grab. Spacies and (especially) CF are probably the main victims of Sheik's down throw tech chase.

As another dual main puff sheik here, I would say use sheik's long range to cover more options against low tier characters. Use your tools better so you aren't forced to approach.

A nametag provides your opponent with the ability to tell where you are going during your UpB. While invisible after the vanish your tag stays visible and you can see it move through the air.
