point of the post i need vids of other people trying similar ways with the quickshine to beter my tech.

you dont need doubleshine for anything other than shield pressure (even that is still not really needed). It can be used to edgeguard **** as well.

using it as like doubeshine wavedash grab is superfluous and doesn't serve a purpose

no it does it can prevent shieldgrabs. hitting them with 2 or 3 quickshines prevents them from teching.
theres more use to it than you think. for instant arial doublequickshine dashgrab out of quickshine.

It's not called quickshine, stop confusing people lol. Multishine or double/triple/etc shine.

It isn't necessary for preventing shield grabs, grab out of one shine does the same thing. What do you mean it prevents them from teching? As for aerial doubleshine, dair doubleshine only works on certain characters. Nair is only a good aerial if you're playing vs players that don't crouch cancel or if they're in the air, any other aerial is impractical to combo into shine and shouldn't be done like that.

Does grab out of shine beat an equally fast grab (on a shield)? I'd assume yes but not sure. Seems to, at least, but that may be because of reaction speed and such.

Also, I'm a firm believer that multishine should be renamed polyshine. Isn't it such a cool word?

I got this from the fox advice thread. I only know this cuz i tested it cuz a lot of people were wondering about whether shine->grab was legit or not. i think theres a thread somewhere about shield pressure frame data and one m2k made somewhere (although he didnt use frame by frame mode for that, he just did the best he could to guess so idk how accurate it is) other than that idk.

Timing's pretty strict on that but shine grab is too good :D

Thanks Silent Wolf.

I never really got in the habit of shine grabbing as Fox, I should really do it more often. Do it all the time as Falco @.@

you only think. ive been practicing this so much so that i can hit two multishines to a wave dash just as fast as some can shine wave dash. you can jump right out of the shine fast enough makin have no animation. you can quickshine just as fast. anyways its been workin for me so its style for style mate.
