Beat Up battle factors?

While using metronome, the move "beat up" came up. I thought it was an interesing move. Basically, every pkmn in your team comes out and does a little damage to the opponent. But I would like to know what factors affect the damage done. The move description on serebii says "Summons party pokemon to join in the attack." This doesn't help me much. My Questions regarding the move:

1. Does the move use the other pkmn's attack power during their attack? I.E. If I had a Slaking with 460 attack power, would the damage from his attack turn be calculated with that or the original beat up user? If it uses every individual pkmn's attack power, I think this move would go well on a team of physical sweepers.

2. If the other pkmn in the party are part dark, would their attack get a stab bonus? I.E. If I had a ttar in my party, would its attack be like a 15 base attack instead of 10? If the above two are true, then a team of dark physical sweepers would be very good with this move.

3. If the other pkmn in the party are holding items, would the item's effect come into play? I.E. If someone on my team is holding a kings rock, is there a chance that the target will flinch? If all of the above is true, then a Weavile with beat up, followed by a dark team of physical sweepers, with everyone holding a kings rock....hahaha, sorry.

4. Do the other pkmn's abilities come into play when they attack. I really doubt this one, but say someone on your team had technician, would their attack get powered up?

Thats all of the battle factors that come to mind right now. Unless spikes hurts everyone that comes out. That would suck... And sorry for all of the overclarification.

Beat Up damage is typeless damage (or maybe ??? typed like Curse), so there's no stab for it at all. The actual damage is based on the base attack of your team and the base defense of your opponent.

So let's say my team is Primeape (with Beat Up)/attack mode Deoxys/Slaking/Rampardos/Regigigas/Rayquaza. Note that everything on my team has a really high base attack (except Primeape who has the highest attack among Pokemon who learn Beat Up); 105/180/160/165/160/150. If my opponent has a Pokemon such as Blissey (who has a base defense of 10), Beat Up will do obscene amounts of damage.

The damage done by Beat Up isn't dependant on the actual attack stats of your Pokemon or the actual defense stat of your opponent's Pokemon; the damage would be the same whether my Pokemon were Modest with 0 attack IVs/EVs or Adamant with 31 attack IVs and 252 attack EVs.

Sorry for the double post, editing isn't saving right for some reason.

@ Phiddlesticks comment So The base defense is subtracted from the base attack to calculate damage? (Or something to that effect) That sounds even better, because if I have a team of 160 base attackers, and the average base defense of the opponents is 90ish...Multiply that by a party of six pkmn, lmao.

And does anyone have info on the items effect? If it did work, a team loaded with kings rocks would make an 88% flinch rate (kings rock effect is 30% right?). Btw, Sneasel can learn beat up as a level up move. Weavile is faster, and it has more attack than Primape. Thats why I suggested it.
