So, impressions? I don't mind it. I think it's cool. It's not a nintendo character, but it's a similar feel to what you would get from Snake when he first joined Brawl. Disappointed, anyone? I'm not.

Although as people say, Hideki Kamiya might be joking about this and want to troll us smash players.

The only thing that bugs me is that Sakurai said he wouldn't let any third-party character into Smash, and I don't think Bayonetta is a character that deserves to be in SSB4.

This is true also. We should be able to see her next week, so if this does happen, we'll be able to confirm this.

Also, about the ESRB rating. Given Snake was in Brawl, he used certain military weapons like grenades, mines, ...whatever his Usmash is, and Fsmash. You get the point. Guns though? I mean, Snakes Fsmash and Usmash seem to be some type of gun. (If someone could clarify for me) Something like this might be a bit worse than Snakes move set.

The topic title is really misleading. Anyway, if they do add her hopefully she'd replace Snake and not Sonic. As cool as Snake was he felt totally out place in Brawl. It was weird because he shouldn't have. You'd think in a game where a cartoony plumber, a super serious intergalactic bounty hunter, or a gorilla with a tie fight each other he'd fit in just fine.

He also said animal crossing characters don't belong in smash a few years ago and proceeded to make the Villager the first reveal in smash 4 and then he added the Wii Fit female trainer. Point is Sakurai does whatever the f#$@ he wants and trying to justify or argue against any characters appearing at this point is just unjustified. Some day we may see Snake duke it out with Travis Touchdown and Bayonetta. If anything the argument for Bayonetta should be that her moveset just wouldn't be that great without showing a little too much skin, kinda like how he censored the heck outta snake in brawl taking away his knives and guns. But he proved that he can alter the moveset of any character to get them in (Captain Falcon, Star Fox)

I would love Bayonetta, but I don't think she has a chance in hell of getting in. If only because Kamiya has been pretty vocal against it recently. If a deal was struck before his comments then maybe, but I don't think he has interests in including his creation in this game.

And that's fine because even if I'd enjoy her I do think there are better more worthy third party reps that could represent a hardcore side of things that Snake most likely will leave open.
