This stage takes place in tbe middle of a fight between Zant and Link(But Link dosn't appear in the background.) But the stage changes phases(every 20 seconds) just like in TP.
FOREST TEMPLE PHASE:
This battle is reminiscent of the battle with Diababa. There is red water that if a character is touching, it causes damage. Zant is in the background shooting those red balls of energy at the characters that you must avoid.
GORON MINES PHASE:
This phase puts you in the room where you tackled the giant Goron that you threw off the platform and into the burning lava. Zant's gimmick this time around will be to warp around the room and make the platform move all around. If you fall into the lava, you will get damage and ge shot up, just like in the Metriod stage.
LAKEBED TEMPLE PHASE:
This phase puts you in the watery deeps of Lakebed Temple. There will be many different Snake Helmets all around the bottom. They'll be closed off until one of them opens up to show Zant inside. When he is exposed, he'll launch an energy attack at you.
FOREST TEMPLE -- MONKEY BUSINESS PHASE:
Zant will work very similar to the way the monkey did, jumping from pole to pole and then stopping to throw an energy attack you. You can also jump ontop of the poles.
SNOWPEAK RUINS PHASE:
This phase takes you to where you fought Blizzetta. Zant will grow to a giant and floats over the character, then drops down the crushes the characters. Characters can hit Zant which makes him jump holding his foot and making him shrink. The stage is also slippry.
DUEL WITH ZANT:
In this final phase, you'll fight right in front of the trapped Hyrule Castle. This is pretty much a one-on-one duel with the man himself, Zant; no real gimmick to talk about here. He has a few attacks that he'll use in this final confrontation -- one is the stanard slices from his two blades on his arms and the other is a vicious spin attack. The latter is hard to avoid because it can break your guard fairly easily. After the spin attack, Zant will often be left very dizzy.
The phases repeat after Duel With Zant. You can even beat up Zant if he's around you.
