Basic Vertex Hacking Guide?

Hey everyone. I can find guides to almost anything Brawl Hacking related, but for the life of me I can't find a guide for vertex editing. I want to get started today, and I want to start somewhere... but I'd like a guide for it first

Can anyone direct me to some info or guides on it?
