Basic brawl/team battle hack idea

I posted this thread already, but I think it was in the wrong place. So, I believe this may be the right place for this.

Okay, so here it is: I have the code for 2 offline players to play in basic brawl or team battle. My first question is, how exactly does it work? I have it set in my codes folder, however, I cannot seem to figure out how to get the second player into either of the two modes.

My second question, or rather idea, is how to modify this code so that someone on your friendlist is able to join you in either basic brawl or team battle. I always knew about this code and I just want to try to see if anyone knows of an existing code like this, or if they have any idea of how to create a code like that. Here's the code for the 2 player (offline) doing basic brawl:

WITH ANYONE - Basic Brawl Multiplayer [Phantom Wings]
4A000000 90180B44
38000000 00FF1000
10000000 0000000C

And as I said before, I cannot get this to work for myself, and I also would like to know if there is a similar code like this that lets people on your friendlist play basic brawl/team battle with you. That would be a fun feature.

In addition to this, I would like to know more about coding myself. Someone already told me its impossible to have someone on your friendlist join you in basic brawl/team battle through some sort of code, but what if I made an "icon" for myself that says "basic brawl/team battle with friends"? That way, when I click on it, it will appear as if a person could join, but I'm also waiting for other random players to join. I think the max amount of players able to join should be 1. There are two modes that no one really uses online, and that's home run contest and multi man brawl. Is it possible to do some sort of replacement of those modes, and trick the wii into making it set up for the basic brawl/team battle modes?

Actually, the code itself as a .txt file doesn't go into the codes folder. You need to use Ocarina Code Manager to activate the code, and save it in the Codes folder as a .gct file, and use Gecko to start it up. Once you are in basic brawl/team brawl, the icon that says P2/P3 to join press start (the flashing blue text that appears while in friend mode) will appear. Then, you press start and you can have your 2nd/3rd player join =) There are many malfunctions with this code, it actually has a low success rate as in fully working on basic brawl etc. Most of the time, you will disconnect because you are not hosting the brawl. (You will most likely be the host if only one outside player not using the code joins your team of two, instead of you being brought into a group that will be filled by you and your partner.) Player 2&3 will not be able to play in the practice stage. However if you are able to successfully get into a group, a few things can go wrong. Eg: You get into the group, but Player 2 cannot move. Or, you get into the group, but instead of your friend controlling P2, you actually are controlling both yourself and a different, non-hacking user (usually P4) with one controller, while you friend can also not move. Basically saying that with one controller you can control two characters. I've had this happen to me once XD

I love your idea, personally. It would make it much easier than trying to get into the same group of basic brawl together. However this will most likely not happen, because basic brawl is regional. So to say if you are in the U.S. and your friend from Australia want to play, it isn't going to work. Also, to add onto that, there has been an attempt, a failed attempt sadly, to replace a mode of wi-fi (home run contest, multi-man brawl) with boss battles. Anyways, the coding is for masters, it is very complicated, not to mention that through extensive testing on 2 people with the same code trying it together did not work however they tried it. So no, unfortunately with Brawl fading and SSB4 coming in, the changing of wi-fi modes probably will not happen. (Great idea though, it made me smile =) )

Hope I helped! ^^

Aww really? Is all hope of such a cool idea lost? :( I guess I really don't understand coding enough to know what is actually possible and what isn't. I kinda got into coding brawl last week. xP Thank you so much for your help btw. :)
