I realize that there was a post like this up frequently, but mine has an actual moveset.
Banjo Kazooie. Their games first came out for the N64, and they were a BIG success. They've also starred in a few GBA games (well, at least one), and the third Banjo Kazooie is coming out for the XBox 360 (which may be the only thing holding them back). Through the moves of the first two games that they have and earned, they have a wide variety of moves to choose from, many which will give some gamers some pleasant memories. They are very unique and great characters overall, and they definitely deserve a spot in Brawl. Just for hopes of them getting in, I devised a moveset of my own. Here it is:
AAA: Banjo punches twice, Kazooie pecks
Side tilt: Kazooie quickly pecks outwards
Up tilt: Banjo swipes his claw upwards
Down tilt: Kazooie comes out and pecks the foe. It's a little slow, but pretty strong.
Dash attack: Kazooie's wings shroud Banjo, and he rolls forward at the enemy.
Fsmash: Beak Bayonet (correct if name is wrong, but from the games, when Banjo is holding Kazooie to shoot eggs, he presses B and barges forward with him. That move.)
Usmash: Kazooie rapidly pecks upwards three times.
Dsmash: Banjo takes Kazooie out of his backpack and smashes him onto the ground in front of him (I'm pretty sure this was from the games.)
Nair: Kazooie puts her wings out in back, Banjo puts his claws out in front, they twirl.
Fair: Kazooie quickly pecks forward three times (from the game.)
Uair: Banjo swings his backpack up into the air and hits the foe.
Bair: Banjo kicks his foot out behind him (like Donkey Kong's bair.)
Dair: Bill Drill/Regular Jump + Z (in the games): Press down a to have Banjo turn upside down and Kazooie stick his beak out and hit the ground with it. Falling speed is increase. If you hold Down A, Banjo and Kazooie will start to spin. It has a long start up, but as soon as they spin enough, they INSTANTLY dart into the ground and drill the ground, doing major damage to whatever it hits (Bill Drill from games.)
B: Shoot an egg (from the game): Hold B and you can aim up or down, release at desired angle to shoot egg. It will shoot one of five eggs:
Blue egg - Common egg. Little knockback, but quick.
Fire egg - Less common than blue egg. Decent damage, and fire stun.
Grenade egg - Pretty rare. Has low priority and is a little on the slow side, but does MAJOR damage if it hits.
Ice egg - Pretty rare. Doesn't do too much damage, but freezes the opponent. Freezes for longer at higher percents.
Clockwork Kazooie egg - Rarest of them all. Relatively quick and has the power of a grenade egg. Plus, if you don't hit the opponent, it becomes a little bird machine thing that you can move and explode at will, and does as much damage as the grenade. Only downsides are that you can explode yourself and Banjo and Kazooie are vulnerable while controlling the bird.
Side B: Beak Barge (I think it's called) - Banjo ducks down and holds out Kazooie in front of him. Then, he dashes at the enemy with Kazooie (Z + B in the games.) Can be charged to increase power and distance.
Up B: Fly - Kazooie leaps up, carrying Banjo, and is able to fly left or right (it's more like gliding, though. No, you may NOT use red feathers.)
Down B: Split Up - Just like in Banjo Tooie, Kazooie jumps out of the backpack (it's a little slow, just as slow as in the game) and you can control Banjo alone while Kazooie stays in one place. He has his own moveset and everything. If you press Down B again, it changes to Kazooie, who has his own moveset. You can keep pressing down B to switch between the two because it switches instantly. The only problem is that, while you're controlling one character, the other is vulnerable to attacks, for he is just like a human in Training Mode (without someone playing him.) If one character dies, they both die. However, you can always change to the other and save yourself. To reunite with one another, simply touch one another and they'll reunite automatically.
However, I know Split Up might be a little cheap (two characters in one with so many comboing possibilities), so I devised another down B if that one doesn't work well.
Down B: Talon Trot - Just like in the games, you get on Kazooie's feet and start moving around the field. Hold B to keep the trot. You move at 2x your normal speed, and you can jump. The only problem is that, while trotting, you cannot use any B or ground attacks, and the trot has a little lag on the end of it. However, you can automatically cancel the trot with an aerial attack or your double jump (just like, you guessed it, the games.)
Double jump: Kazooie flaps her wings, raising you up a little. However, if you hold A, you will see that Kazooie flaps her wings a few times (just like the games!) During these flaps, you will only decrease your height by a little each second and be able to DI in a direction of your choice. There are only 3 flaps, though.
Taunt: Banjo will give a thumbs up and smile, while Kazooie puts her head out of the pack and kind of smiles. A common pose in the games.
So, what do you guys think? Do YOU want them in Brawl? I really want them to be in Brawl. Please give me your opinion on Banjo Kazooie and my moveset (and also tell me which Down B is better and if Split Up is cheap.)
If Split Up is the superior, I'll put Banjo and Kazooie seperate movesets.
PS: When I say 'the games', I refer to Banjo Kazooie/Banjo Tooie, not Smash Bros.
