Band Music?

I might be just be weird... (and I probobly am) but I really enjoy playing music... like in band, marching band, jazz band... please tell me. am I alone?

No not at all! If you really like playin' yo music, then it is normal and good. Obviously you have an interest which is always nice.

Yeah well I have a sister who ridicules me for not enjoying regular music with singers and stuff like she does.... but anyway... are you into band or something?

I used to do jazz band and I liked some of the music like the songs "Misty" and "Tastes Like Chicken" but, I got into some fights with my fellow trumpeters and me being first chair was always agreed with by the band teacher and so anyways I had conflicts and I don't play anymore. Well, sometimes I play some Beatles songs out of a book when I'm bored.

yeah... I am a trumpeter too but uhh.... I am not first chair... how I wish I could be but I am not. My trumpet is screwed up I have had it for a few years now and it sure has taken a beating.

I'm a rather good trumpeter but, that's not my choice of hobbies to keep me occupied I guess. I may take a band class next year to get the credit out of the way.

Hmmm.... Band seems to entertain me most of the time. mainly in the summer when its marching band season. Marching band you think would be boring and lame but its actually really fun.

Coincidentally, our school played one of Giannini's songs recently and we're working on Armenian Dances right now. Alfred Reed is brilliant.

I simply love Band; it's one of the few things in school where I can shine at, not to mention the insane amount of new friends you can make; our High School has more than 300 Band and Color Guard members .

i used to play a trombone, it was cool, but i quit because we were required to practice x number of hours at home each week, which was annoying, and im lazy.

yeah my school doesnt force us to play anything but its still good to try every once in a while. Right now I am playing a piece called "Fortress" Its kinda creepy it sounds like the music on Zelda (Wind waker) when you are at the forsaken fortress.
