Smash Master
Anyone here who knows me knows that I am incredibly and unreasonably liberal when it comes to what should be banned. I am not opposed to various controversial stages, for example.
However, I'll have to put my foot down here.
We all know that Diddy Kong is toxic to the Smash 4 metagame solely because of his easy-to-set-up and nigh-inescapable combo, the Banana -> Dthrow -> Uair, or "Hoohah".
It's not just the combo's effects in the game alone, however. Were that the case, I'd suck it up and deal with it. But there's a bigger problem – it's being weaponized against this community as a whole by our enemies.
Meta Knight was banned briefly in Brawl, and that was probably the brightest moment for the fleeting Brawl scene. And then the Unity ruleset collapsed because people missed him. So he returned, and that was the already-ailing game's final death knell.
Let's not make the same mistake again.

- Sakurai has explicitly refused to fix the problem. In a recent interview, he said in no uncertain terms that a game with a balanced roster was somehow less fun. Given the timing of the interview, there is no doubt who he was referring to.
- High-level Melee players such as Mew2King are using Diddy to mock us. M2K used Diddy Kong at APEX 2015 for one reason and one reason only – to cement public opinion against our game and our community.
