As far as I'm aware, the character balance in version 3.02 is pretty darn good. I haven't noticed any character who feels particularly broken, or particularly un-usable (well, maybe G&W.... but he's G&W, that's kind of the point I think). I haven't seen much in the way of balance complaints on the boards since coming back online at the end of last January (long story).
However, I'm not the most knowledgeable (or most skilled) smasher around (by a very long shot), so that could be just my ignorance. I wanted to ask the community if you guys can think of any balance irregularities that you think should definitely be addressed in the next (or another future) update. I kind of just want to get a feel for where others think we might be seeing changes, and where the community believes things stand in terms of balance.
To be clear: This isn't a tier discussion. This is about balance changes that should be made, not necessarily just strongest to weakest characters: After all, I have never subscribed to the belief of "nerf best character, buff worst character" because somebody has got to be on top, and somebody has got to be on bottom. My question is if you guys feel there's anybody who's particularly silly? Ex: 2.6 Ivy, 2.1 Ike, 2.0 Sonic (I forget when exactly he was nerfed from dominance), ect. On the flipside, is there any character who just feels completely innefective?
