I will be starting a badass video game character tournament on Monday, January 17 and would love for anyone here to participate. Like I said, voting begins on Monday, but until then, you can enter a prediction bracket on the tournament. For now, the prediction competition will be just for fun, but I will likely figure out some sort of prize for the winning prediction bracket TBD at a later time.
Here's how to enter the prediction bracket if interested:
1. Click the link attached: [link removed]
2. Click the link that says 'Championship Bracket.'
3. If you are unfamiliar with any of the characters, you can take this time to click any of the characters' names and it will display their profile.
4. Click the link towards the top of the screen which reads 'Predict It!'
5. You will now be required to register to the site (don't worry, your info won't be shared with anyone).
6. Then, simply enter your predictions for Round 1.
7. Click 'Enter,' and continue to answer your predictions for each round clicking 'Enter' after each round until you've answered your prediction for winner of the tournament and click 'Enter' a final time.
8. You're entered! Simple as that! The winner will be announced and informed shortly after the tournament's competion.
Enjoy the contest and pass it, and the tournament, on to any video game fans you may know who may be interested in entering and participating in the voting!
Tournament begins in just a few days, and the deadline for prediction entries is Sunday January 16, 2011, so predict immediately!
Once the tournament begins, a new battle will be posted around midnight each night (assuming a sizable amount of votes have been cast) until a winner of the tournament is chosen. I will post daily to announce the day's battle.

Until the tournament begins, you can just vote in our "What Makes a Badass?" poll on that page.
Basically, this tournament will pit 64 of the most badass video game characters of all time against each other, in which they will duke it out for the votes to become the voters' chosen Badass of Video Games! (Note: since the bracket was compiled by myself alone, a few characters that some think are badass may not have made the cut, but that's the way it goes...)
