Smash Journeyman
Between 2016 and Ultimate's launch, I had become extremely discouraged as a player due to a lack of improvement - a year-long plateau is devastating to one's confidence. Now that Ultimate is out, I'm feeling much more confident about being able to go on the offensive. Being a lifelong Pokemon fan and a Charizard main in Sm4sh, I have picked Pokemon Trainer as a main.
My playstyle is built on intercepting opponents' attacks before they can go off; I do great when I'm in advantage state, but I tend to panic when I'm on the ropes. How should I practice getting out of disadvantage and maintaining advantage? Also, how should I practice neutral (that was my biggest challenge last game)?
