So, this might be already known, and its not even that useful. But...
When you're on a level such as Corneria (melee), if you camp out on the right side facing left, right up against the wall, you can use your B-up and it will go through the ship and hit people standing on the slope (assuming you have all your pikmin). This also works well on some levels of pokemon stadium, and many others. It goes through platforms and most walls too.
You can just use this as a surprise if someone isn't expecting it.
