Avatar characters

Does any fan of the Avatar: The Last Airbender series think one of those characters should be playable?

Avatar is a cartoon series. One of the most basic requirements for characters to be in SSB is that they originate from a video game series. So its impossible.

The only person I see making an appearance, as a PC, from that series is Iroh.

Yeah, Iroh's great, isn't he? Though Azula sure has her moments as well.

No Avatar characters. Third Party, Television-created and just-plain-bad. The only television character I can see getting in is Captain N.

I watch Avatar every friday as well. But only in our dreams will an Avatar character make it. The only cross-over fighting game. Would be all Nickelodean characters. IMO, Avatar is a good series. The DBZ of Nick.

I love Avatar...one of the only reasons why I turn on the frikin TV for anything other than videogames...and Animal Planet/Discovery Channel sometimes...and the occasional Bleach if I decide to pretend I have insomnia that day...but Sakurai said characters in Brawl haveto originate from a videogame...but if he even accepted cartoon characters....Aang should be in....but seeing as how that isnt so.....then....................no...

Well in that Avatar is not a japanese franchise, and Brawl made out so far of japanese characters that maybe something from the west like Avatar may not enter.

We've acknowledged that Avatar characters can't get in...we're just saying that it would be sweet if they did...we don't think they can be...we just like the idea...let us have our moment...

Thats rather irrelevant though, since anime has been restricted from being in Brawl as well.

That was pretty inconsiderate of you. What makes you think you have the right to say if someones post is a failure. It's his insight and he has the right to make this thread. But you on the other hand don't have the priority to trash talk other people when you don't have a valid reason..

Avatar's an amazing show. Anybody who disagrees clearly has not seen it. That being said a character from the series would never make it in the game ( I'm so sorry Katara you would have been perfect) especially since it's a TV show and the Wii game was pretty close to vomit on a disc.

Once again, no one here actually thinks an Avatar character's gonna get in, so why does it matter...?
