auto subscribe?

couldn't find a help thread. Sorry.
whenever i post in a thread, it automatically subscribes me to it. how do I turn this feature off? Sorry for posting this here. Thanks for your answer, as having 10 million subscriptions gets kind of annoying, as i have about 1500 emails right now (not exaggerating)

I changed your settings to turn off auto-subscribe. But in the future, and for anyone else, it can be toggled by going to User CP, then to the User Options menu. It's a pull-down menu option on that page.
