I'm sure many of us remember the moment when we learned that you can chain u-airs with captain falcon until the end of time against fast fallers, and follow it up with an up-b for the 0-death kill.

There are a few combos like this which are:
1. Very easy to pull off (or at least, some of them are).
2. Impossible/very difficult to escape
3. Either kill or do a ton of damage.

I thought it might be nice to make a list of the general patterns of these combos (ie: falcon, grab->upspash*x->upair*x->upB) and more importantly, ways in which they can be escaped, with things like smash DI and/or intelligent teching.

I think this will help to save all of us from going from friendly smashers, into the supreme jew-hating rage machines which we all become after being auto-combo'd for 5 stocks.

I'll start with a preliminary list (without how to escape it, because really, I often don't know how), and I'll add to it as people say things.

Some of these obviously only work on certain characters and at certain percentages.

Pikachu
uptilt*x -> upair*x -> backair
upsmash*x -> uptilt*x -> anything

Kirby
uptilt*x -> fair -> anything
uptilt*x -> dair ->anything
dair -> anything

Fox
(dair -> uptilt/dtilt)*x

Captain Falcon
upsmash*x -> upair*x -> upB

Mario
Idk, I suck with mario

Yoshi
(uptilt -> dair)*x
uptilt -> upair*x

DK
Grab Release
(Grab -> Throw into Wall ->Regrab)*x

Jigglypuff
dair -> utilt*x -> rest
dair -> grab -> fthrow -> upair*x -> rest
dair -> upsmash

Ness
uptilt*x -> DJCupair*x -> anything
DJCdair*x (Tech in any direction, hope you don't get techchased)

Link
upsmash*x -> uptilt*x -> anything

Luigi
dair -> upair*x -> upB

Samus
dair*x -> anything (Tech in any direction, hope you don't get techchased)

you can chain u-airs with captain falcon until the end of time against fast fallers, and follow it up with an up-b for the 0-death kill.
that doesn't guarantee a kill
3. Either kill or do a ton of damage.
^^^but this would be more likely

Also:
How is Rat's Utilt to Utilt doable/connectable?

And about Samus:
Try double jump -> DownB (in front of you opponent) -> Dair (behind of you opponent) -> UpSmash -> ...
since what you said about Samus is... bah...

But besides that, I like the idea of this thread, but "Auto-Combos" in the OP doesn't seem fully right.

Chasing a don't get hit match or something.
:p

Edited just to change UpA -> ... to UpSmash -> ...
I miss my quickedit

Any of these that involve drill's (mostly d-air combos) are DI-able (such as Yoshi's u-tilt to d-air...if it was not DIable LOLLL broken.)

In terms of auto-combos, Kirby and Falcon are probably the easiest to auto-combo with (along with Fox/Yoshi/Ness for tech-skilled players.)

Samus can also auto-grab someone off of a full charge shot on a shield.

DK and Falcon have a throw to Giant/Falcon Punch at certain percents. DK can cancel his down b into combos vs basically anyone such as U-smash for fast fallers/heavy weights and Giant punch vs most midweights and some floaties, (is there anyone who can escape, maybe pikachu and jigglypuff?)

Kirby's dair is especially escapable. Not only can you DI out of it, you can tech out of it when you hit the ground.

Nop, Your best option is to Di to above the ledge and try to tech it, because even if you di to the edge you will die.

Can you DI above kirby to save you from a spike?
theoretically yes, you can di so your hurt box is above the dair hitbox.
you would still have downwoard momentum, but if you can upb immediately to stop it.
