The person without the DLC Stage still wouldn't be able to CP with it and couldn't fault their opponent for not having it. That's rather unfair to give some that option and not others.

Think about it this way, if i took away the dlc stage would the stage list be better? I dont see how adding a stage would affect anyone, people who dont have the dlc stage are probably used to not playing on it so they will most likely choose from the other stages

Actually, yes, taking away that Stage would make the competition better. It would be better because then it would make it fair to those of us who don't have the stage for one.
And why the Hyrule Castle stage and not Peach's Castle, that doesn't make sense - Peach's Castle is also superior to Hyrule Castle as far as competitive value goes (no environmental damage, not banned by other rulesets, and a much more balanced stage design).

So, yes, for plenty of reasons it'd be better to not include it.

Actually my point was about someone who couldn't counterpick the stage because they don't have it. Not about how to get it to work for someone who does have it.

I paid $2 for Peach's Castle, why isn't that available for me to take advantage of over people who don't have the funds to get that Stage?

Because peach's castle has too many hazards. The spring in the middle, the moving platform which can screw up recovery and the 2 triangular platforms on the top left and right can stop someone from dying off the top

However I'm no-no for the DLC counter-picks. Those stages were horrible. Just go with the actual EVO 2015 stages and Omega stages.

Also how are you going to make sure every matches happen? By that I mean you're going to have to check every matches to confirm a win (technically) and since there's like 50 players in your tournament, it'll be long.

1 hazard vs how many did i list about PC?

Three, two of which are platforms::

1. Spring
2. Moving platform
   
3. Triangular platforms

I want to call into question calling platforms "hazards" which if it were criteria for invalidating a stage would invalidate evrything except Final Destination (and that could be argued to be one large platform that makes up the stage).
And next I would compare the walls and ceiling in Hyrule Castle as "hazards" to the platforms.
You now have just as many "hazards" as Peach's Castle:

1. Randomly spawning tornadoes
   
2. Wall on the left side of the stage
3. Wall on the right side of the stage
4. Ceiling in the tower on the right.

Additionally, the "hazards" in Hyrule Castle have a much more impeding and impacting interaction than Peach's Castle. The Tornado is randomly spawned, whereas the platforms in Peach's Castle are static or easily predictable (the main moving platform is a slow horizontal movement only) - nothing outside of basic play needed here, if you are in a tournament you are expected to play to at least this level of skill. Whereas the tornado in Hyrule Castle is unpredictable since it is random, impeding competitive level play.

My whole point wasn't to argue the stages, it is a clear and obvious point: Why include Hyrule Castle when it is DLC and not Peach's Castle which is also DLC? Doing so makes competition unfair to those who do not have the Stage, and won't even get into all of it's non-competitive aspects which got it banned in SSB64 competition (yet Peach's Castle remains available for SSB64).
