It's been quite a while since Kansas City has seen a nice sized tournament so we're hoping to draw in quite a few people and hopefully some out-of-staters will come. You will get a chance to play some of the Kansas city's toughest most competitive smashers and even a chance to play one of the Midwest's regional best: darkrain hehe!

Date: August 4th, 2007 (a Saturday)
Time:
Registration beings at 10am
Tournament starts PROMPTLY at 11am
Ends (whenever we finish)
Tournament:
Singles: $15
Doubles: $20 a team ($10 a person)
Rules:
MLG Standard for those of us veterans, for everyone else:
Bring your own controller we do not have controllers available for you.

It would be very very helpful if people would bring setups to the venue if at all possible
and
If anyone plans on attending from out of state and needs housing there are plenty of local smashers who can give housing for a night. Otherwise, just post if you need housing the night before and people will respond to you.
However, "rooms will be available for renting at about 20 bucks a night, and the rooms are IN THE DORM, so you won't required to drive anywhere to the venue. There are plenty of places to eat, not to mention the school cafeteria which staff members will desperately be TRYING to give meals away to. There is a massive parking structure that is free on weekends right next to us, so parking won't be an issue, and there are plenty of fun things to do in Kansas City if you are wanting to journey around. If staying in the dorms isn't your thing, plenty of hotels and motels ranging from 35 dollars a night to thousands of dollars a night within about 2 miles of the venue so all needs will be met for the venue." -Cups
"The tournament will be held in the basement of the Cherry Street Dorm which can easily fit hundreds of people and has many outlets that can hold numerous setups and televisions, so space will not be an issue, not to mention other rooms in the basement that can still hold hundreds and has many plugs." -Cups
