[Aug 13, 2015] Nova's Online Summer Doubles Tournament (Online)

Let's have some fun before this summer ends and we're all back to school/college or whatever other commitments we may have. This is my first of several tournament i'll be hosting. There will be no prizes, this is purely for fun and salt. Get your names out there.

Smash Bros. Wii U Doubles Rules:
-2v2
-3 Stock 8 Minutes
-Team Attack ON
-No Items
-No Customs*
-No equipment

Bracket Info:
-All matches are best 2/3 except for the Winner's Finals, Loser's Finals, and Grand Finals, which will all be best 3/5.
-In order for the Loser's Bracket team in Grand Finals to beat the Winner's Bracket team, they must first beat the Winner's Bracket team in 1 best 3/5 set and then another. If the Winner's Bracket team beats the Loser's bracket team in the first set, the Loser's bracket team is eliminated.

*All Mii Fighters are legal as well as all of their custom moves. They're the only exception to the "No Customs" rule

Neutrals:
- Final Destination
- Battlefield
- Smashville

Counter Picks:
- Town and City
- Castle Siege
- Delfino Plaza
- Duck Hunt
- Lylat Cruise
-Omegas*
- Dreamland 64
-Peach's Castle 64

*If FD is banned, so are Omegas

Gentleman's Rule in effect:
If both players agree on a stage to play on, legal or otherwise, then playing on the stage is allowed.

Stage Striking Procedure and Stage Bans:

Stage Striking:
For simplicity's sake, 1 team strikes 1 neutral stage while the other team strikes another. The game will be played on the remaining stage. Who strikes first is irrelevant in this tournament.

Stage Bans:
Every match after the first match, the winning team will always be able to ban 2 stages. The losing team can choose any of the remaining Counter Picks.

11:00 AM: Meet in the event page if you don't have a partner but you still want to participate.

12:00 PM: Bracket is finalized/closed and no more people will be able to join. Everyone must have the event page open in a tab.

12:30 PM: Tournament begins.
