Hey, just have three questions regarding SFX/Sound stuff:

1. Is it possible to change the voice of a specific skin of a character? Say I wanted to give Daisy a voice that happens to be a Daisy skin over a Peach one. Would I have to make a new character slot entirely?
2. I know how to replace music normally, but can I change the actual titles of the music that is read at the beginning of the match?
3. Thinking to make my own announcer pack with a fellow VAer. Recording is no problem, but what kind of program and steps would be suggested in organizing and making it work efficiently?

Thank you!

1.Idk but if it works like how doctor mario/ mario works then yes
2.Open your pm in brawlstagemanager/brawlsongmanager edit and save or you'll have to edit the menumain/info.pac without those programs.(becareful though sometimes it corruptes the paths)
3.IDK

To make an announcer I suggest you download Super Sawndz. It's a program that will allow you to make your own sound packs for Brawl that you can put in the sfx folder of your PM build. I also suggest you download Sawndz as well. You might need to convert a couple files from the PM announcer into a file you can open in Super Sawndz.

Also get Audacity. It's a free audio software that's pretty much a must if you're looking into making an announcer.

Also when you're creating files for an announcer, you have to drop the quality on the audio files and make them a bit louder.

GL!

Audacity and recording won't be a problem. Been in the VAing stuff for a good number of years myself, haha. Though for the sake of quality difference you spoke of, is there a setting that would work best in your opinion?

That helps out a lot, thanks!

Changing the Project Rate in the lower left of the program to a lower value decreases the quality substantially. It's automatically set to 44100, but I'd advise you set it to 22000 or lower, which is what I do.

Also to make the clips much louder, go into effects and use leveler. Then do amplify to increase the volume.

Make sure you're files are in .wav format, incase you didn't know.
