I don't care as long as our localized version here doesn't have an audience sounding like narcoleptic pensioners trying to chew a gristly steak like in Brawl.

How about one that actually sounds like an audience. That would be a first.

I want the audience in Hearthstone carried over to this game. That's an audience with a lot of personality.

I want 8 hours of seamlessly-stitched crowd recordings. Playing constantly!

Smash 64 had the most lively audience, so I really want them to strive for that if not better.

Lying about my country.
God...brawl was so bad compared to melee.......
For real? I thought Melee was by far the worst, it sounds like they're like four extremely bored guys in a small room to the point even my easily impressed child brain thought it was awful.

I mean, it sounded like they were just... casually saying character names when cheering on them.

They just need to look back on the 64 audience, that thing was so ****ing hype.

The cheering in Brawl was pretty bad, but so were the gasps and clapping.

Actually everything in Brawl was less audible. Characters would grunt and scream less.

Well forget about the chants and think about the other things the audience does. Remember how in Melee everytime someone grabs a ledge after a recover the audience would "GASP!" really loud. They'd also go "YEEAAAH!" after someone got blasted off-screen. The audience in Brawl was far less enthusiastic.

Have you heard any of Melee's cheers?

Talk about a sleeping crowd.

64 really is the route to go in regards to enthusiasm. But 64, Melee, and Brawl all trade off in the creative cheer department.

Here's a video of each cheer for sake of reference:

Still, you gotta love Yoshi's chant. Sounds like the slave song.
