Audacity (music mixer)

Does anyone here know how to use Audacity. Cause i've been messing with it and it's pretty cool. But i have no idea how to use it. Some things i'm interested in doing is the infamous "chop and screw" i can do the screw part but not that chop. I know it has something to do with either overlapping the waves, or repeating them. So if anyone knows how to use it please give some pointers.

yea i used it once for a skit, but that wuz a while ago
i found it pretty easy because all i needed for it wuz to find the sound and put them together by cutting and relocating, thats mostly all i needed it for
