I did test out some stuff with the stat customizations earlier in Training mode, just to see how they all worked out. The following is just some things that I've taken note...
  • Positive attack values increase damage dealt and knockback.
  • Negative attack values decrease damage dealt and knockback.
  • Positive defense values reduce damage received, along with increasing weight.
  • Negative defense values increase damage received, along with decreasing weight.
  • Defense boosts aren't able to completely neutralize attack boosts.
    • Even if the defense boost is greater than the attack boost, you'll notice that the attack boost will still deliver more damage and knockback than normal.
    • Apparently, attack boosts increase damage dealt much more than how defense boosts decrease damage received.
  • Defense drops can actually make heavyweights lighter than default Jigglypuff if they're low enough.
Now, I did use Ganondorf's Reverse Warlock Punch, along with different customizations to get all of this stuff down.
  • Default Reverse Warlock Punch 1-hit KO'd Bowser Jr. when he had below -50 defense.
  • Kirby survived default Reverse Warlock Punch with positive defense values.
  • +70 attack Reverse Warlock Punch didn't 1-hit KO positive defense Kirby, but still sent him flying far.
    • I later tested +70 attack Reverse Warlock Punch on positive defense Mr. Game & Watch. It didn't 1-hit KO him at the stage center, and he took 1% less damage, which probably meant that my custom Mr. Game & Watch's defense boost was slightly higher than that of my custom Kirby's.
  • Default Reverse Warlock Punch didn't send +110 defense King Dedede flying far.
    • Tried again with +70 attack Reverse Warlock Punch, and the attack did send +110 defense King Dedede flying further.
Hopefully, this information might come in handy for anyone who plans on doing battles with character customizations.
