My guide to Olimar,most Specialized character in brawl!
Olimar is a character that needs skills,and is very good in skilled hands.
He has a bunch of combo's as well.
Lets start with Pikmin.
Olimar Needs pikmin!
He cant even perform a smash attack without Pikmin.
As long you have enough pikmin,you can recover if you get launched from the battlefield.
But hes very weak against edgeguards.
Press B 'N pluck! Olimar can have 6 pikmin once.
Red
High attack power
Attacks imbued with incendiary properties
Immune to fire
Yellow
Range of attack slightly larger than usual;
easy to hit enemies with
Travel in slight arcs when thrown
Attacks imbued with electrical properties
Blue
Strong when thrown
Slightly more durable than average
Purple
Doesn’t fly far when thrown
Slow
High attack power
Slams into enemies instead of
latching on when thrown
White
Quick and light
When latched onto opponent,
poison does additional damage

Next,lets start with his techniques.
I dont have the names for the techniques right now.
First,if you have no Pikmin and are in battle,press B and directly after that,perform a forward Smash if youre under attack.
Chain spiking
If you have 6 pikmin,spike your enemies with the Up B,Olimar's little up B jump will allow you to recover.
Super armour whistle
By using a down B,the rainbow whistle,you can get the Super armour,which is very good against marth's Fsmash.
Purple and white pikmin only
By plucking Pikmin at the right part of the edge,you will only get white and purple Pikmin.
After plucking those,purple and white pikmin will get thrown less far away then the others.
Both purple and white are the best types of pikmin.
Some of those techniques could be morely strategies as well.
There are a lot more techniques,be sure to check em.
Next,the serious pros use each pikmin in the right situation.
You can change the pikmin order by performing an pikmin throw or a smash attack.
Olimar is great for combos,he has a bunch of them,and its pretty easy to make combos with him.
Olimar is light,so watch your step if your percentage is high.
Edgeguards from a distance,and Olimar is lost.
The best thing you can do when people are edgeguarding is using your up B,you might get lucky and get a kill,but it will still damage your enemies.
