As many Veterans as Newcomers?

Looking at the Dojo today and seeing even number on both sides, I was wondering if Sakurai is adding a large number of Newcomers to have as many as the Veterans. It also may depend on how many Vets are returning?

i think there will be 8 more characters coming to brawl. i would rather have more, but i think 32 characters is a realistic number. i think Sakurai will include more veterans than newcomers. i think c.falcon, luigi, sheik, ganondorf and jigglypuff are almost certain to return, with a good chance of others returning as well, and i cant see more than 3 or 4 newcomers making it.

but as you said, its currently equal. anything can happen

I think we have more 32, I am thinking about 38 because a great deal of Melee characters where unlockable. We will have quite a bit of unlockables here as well. I still think there will be clones, but I am fine with clones.

yeah why are people against clones there almost the same thing as alt costumes I mean I know they are diffrent but still there similar but you raise a good point

For there to be only 32 characters, that'd mean that Sakurai would have to make some incredibly stupid exclusions.

well hes already made a stupid exclusion in ness (yeh i know its not confirmed but his chances now are incredibly small)
