In this thread you make your own tier list for the CONFIRMED characters and argue it out with other peoples tier lists. People can help themselves make their Tier List by looking at the information below. Heres my tier list:

*All info on characters from SmashWikipedia

~Hight Tier~
MetaKnight
Fox

~Medium Tier~
Solid Snake
Pit
Zero Samus
Link
Samus

~Low Tier~
Mario
Pikachu
Kirby
Wario

~Information On These Individuals~

~Meta Knight~

All that is known is that he has a multi-hit aerial attack, can jump multiple times in mid-air, and has an attack like Kirby's Forward smash. It is also apparent that he can glide in mid-air, and also has many multi-hit sword attacks.

Within the first Brawl trailer Meta Knight is seen shielding or reflecting one of Pit's arrows with his cape, which when on him renders him camouflaged with his surroundings (it makes him appear invisible). It is unknown whether this was a cinematic choice, is his shield, or is one of his moves within the game.

~Fox~

Very little is known about him at this time, although he seems to have many of the same moves and also keeps the speed he had in SSBM.

When he was revealed in the Nintendo World 2006 trailer, he was shown with his blaster in his hand at all times, leading to much speculation over how his attacks might change in Brawl. However, his gun is shown in its holster in all subsequent screenshots shown at the official website so far.

~Solid Snake~

Instead of using guns like in the real games, he'll be using explosives and the cardboard box used in the trailer. He is the first third-party character to appear in any Super Smash Bros. game. Based on the most recently released trailer, Snake will have an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) that he will use during gameplay. Other footage hints at a thrown grenade attack.
Snake has been seen using physical moves that look similar to those of Captain Falcon. It also looks as if Snake could be a floaty character.

Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid, wished Sakurai (or "begged" according to Sakurai, himself) to include Snake in SSBM, but it was too late to do it at that time.

Sakurai has stated that he feels it would be appropriate that a "guest" character such as Snake should need to be unlocked, so it is likely that Snake will be a secret character, rather than a starter.

~Pit~

He uses a bow and arrow as a weapon, and it can also split into 2 small blades. Pit's arrows shoot out like beams of light when fired, and the curve of the arrows' trajectory can be controlled by the player, by pressing up or down. This is called Palutena Arrow. Pit can jump in mid-air multiple times, but like Kirby and Jigglypuff, he will fall after time. In addition, Pit's Up-B move, known as the Wings of Icarus, allows him to fly freely for a brief period of time. It is currently unknown whether or not this move is capable of causing damage, or whether Pit is able to attack while flying. He will also, like Meta-Knight, have a multi-hit aerial attack.

~Zero Samus~

Samus will discard her armor to become Zero Suit Samus. She appears to use a laser gun/whip as a weapon. According to a post from Masahiro Sakurai on Smash Bros. Dojo, Samus will remove her suit and turn into Zero Suit Samus under "certain conditions." He also notes that Zero Suit Samus lacks power and stamina compared to Samus, but is faster.

Based on the most recently released trailer for SSBB, Zero Suit Samus will be most comparable to Sheik. She appears to be able to jump much higher in relation to Sheik, however. Her dash attack in the trailer appeared to be comparable to Fox's in SSBM. It was also seen that Zero Suit Samus will be able to change from whip to laser gun at will.

Sakurai's "certain conditions" comment is ambiguous enough to allow for Zero Suit Samus to be a transformation or a seperate character. The certain conditions may be a certain event or command ingame which activate a transformation or the requirements for unlocking her. Sakurai also said that she is "not a pure character addition," though this could mean that she is still the same person, much like Mario and Dr. Mario.

~Link~

He appears relatively unchanged from his SSBM form. His new look is from the Wii Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. While Link was right-handed in the Wii version of Twilight Princess, he has returned to his traditional left-handed stance for Brawl.

His Final Smash is called the Triforce Slash, and it consists of trapping the enemy between two spinning Triforces and slashing at them repeatedly.

~Samus~

Although her Final Smash is unknown, she displayed a colossal laser blast in the few seconds she was shown. This was not a gameplay video, but some fans regard it as a possible Final Smash. This possible Final Smash may also allow Samus to remove her suit to become Zero Suit Samus. Yet there is no gameplay footage to back this theory.

~Mario~

He seems relatively unchanged from Melee.

His Final Smash is a large, swirling fire vortex, called the "Mario Finale."

~Pikachu~

His forward smash seems longer.
Pikachu has been seen unsing Thunder, (down+B) Thunder Jolt (B), and Quick attack (up+B). He has also been seen using a Forward Smash and a down Smash.

Pikachu's Final Smash is unknown.

~Kirby~

His upsmash appears to be much more powerful.

His Final Smash is Cook Kirby, which consists of boiling the enemy in a pot.

~Wario~

Wearing his WarioWare outfit, Wario has an attack where he builds up flatulance over time and later realeases a deadly fart called the Wario Waft. What was apparent in the most recent trailer is that he walks on his tiptoes, but this is under debate as to whether or not this was his actual walk. It could also be his dash.

I dont think pika and mario belong in low tier,

and I think tiers r stupid in general, they should try to get rid of it (I kno it's impossible), at least make it so it's less of a difference.

and I hope Pit is low tier, so less ppl will use him.

This is stupid. Remember how Kirby was godlike in the first, then nerfed for Melee? How do we know what is and what isn't going to be changed? We don't know? Ah.
