Aren't there characters outside SSE waiting to be unlocked?

I know that the majority of Brawl's character are unlocked during SSE, but surely not ALL of them are.

What about Classic Mode? HRC? Time based achievements?

Seems kind of silly to have the SSE the only way to get characters. Iwata must know this, and I wouldn't bet that he forgot to add characters for the other modes as well.

My prediction = at least 2 other characters are waiting in the midst. Only time will tell


NOTE - I am not some delusional fan boy, clinging to a hopeless want. I'm actually extremely pleased with the current roster, and would be completely content if no more characters were added. My basic argument in all of this that it would be illogical to assume that the SSE is the only character unlock mechanism in the game.

They have been unlocked already. I'm sure they were done first

the only ones I believe are from SSE are Sonic, Snake, Luigi, Lucario, Wolf or Falco (or both), plus some others.
