Honestly, I think I'm gonna drop Project M competitively. With how different Smash 4 and Project M are and the advanced tech part of Project M I think I'll get less enjoyment out of both games. Smash 4 is something different and I'd like to try something different over something with Melee vibes. Not that Melee vibes are bad or anything.

Unless the scene just dies on its own, of course I will! I played PM and the Smash 4 demo back-to-back and whilst they do feel very different, I can handle both. Outside of issues with the demo's unchangeable control scheme (GRRRRRRRRRR), muscle memory didn't affect me at all. I like wavedashing in PM, I like not wavedashing in Smash 4. I can L-Cancel, I can not L-Cancel. I can DACUS (disturbingly well for a Roy main), I can not DACUS. etc. etc.

Playing Brawl after playing PM on the other hand... Ugh. I feel like I can't control my character in any way.

Maybe.

I'll probably play nothing else than Smash 4 after it's released for a while, but I might go back to older games at some point just for the heck of it.

I'll probably play both it and Smash 4 for different reasons. I like PM's feel, but SSB4 will be portable, and it has a few different characters and such.

Yes of course I will. As much as I love Smash 4, it can't touch Project M with a ten-foot pole. I love the Smash 4 3DS demo, and I definitely will buy both versions of Smash 4, but I'll still play PM.

I probably will still play Project M because Brawl is my least favorite and my copy of Melee is at my other house. So Project M would be something to play if I feel like playing smash on the Wii or even Wii U if I don't feel like getting smash 4 out instead of Brawl and my sd card for Project M.

That and Project M is just really fun. It's me 2nd favorite while my 1st is melee (Chances are that it can be lowered down since I really like smash 4 just by the demo so far).

Will still be playing. I have no problems with Smash 4(Hell, I'm hyped for it), but you know what they say: Variety is the spice of life. That said, I prefer P:M to Brawl because I've pretty lost motivation for Brawl at this point. :p

Never played it competitively, but it will still tide me over until Smash4U comes out.
Same case scenario for me.

I'll still play it occasionally, even when the 3DS version comes out. But I don't know how much I'm going to play Project M when Smash comes out for WiiU. It's not that I don't enjoy it, it's just I see a lot of my smash hours being invested in 3DS/WiiU.

I play everything so this is a resounding yes. I love P:M with all of my heart but in reality you could say I just love Smash in general. But yes, Project M will still be a game I play.

Smash 4 is going to dominate for a while, then Project M is coming back powerfully or weakly depending entirely on how well Smash 4 plays and if it's character balance holds up. But PM won't die for me. Melee and Brawl, on the other hand, probably will. I'll have superior versions(in my opinion) to both.

I mainly got it to tide me over until Smash 4. So yeah, even if I do play it sometime it won't be very often.

I might dwelve into it a little bit whenever that Waluigi Project M Mod is complete just for fun xD

But otherwise, when both Smash 4 versions are out. Project M is going to be less of a priority. Though if I ever do play a previous Smash game, going back to Project M is probably the one I'd go back to for a bit. (Which I still don't consider a separate game from Brawl whatsoever. It's just a professionally done mod).

Melee and 64 are for the most part going to be left in the dust however. (Though sometimes I play Smash 64 for ****s and giggles just because I have it on Virtual Console)

Project M dose have better costums. They just release samus in a fusion suit. Other then that I really don't see myself coming back to it.

I think I'll be dropping Project M, at least for a good year or two. As much as I love it, Smash 4 has so much more content, it's amazing. I'm not completely sure how the Smash 4 scene will develop, but I'll still be part of it for a long while.

Also, being able to play online is ****ing amazing. I mean, NetPlay is great and all, but it's not as accessible as actual online play. Some people can't even run NetPlay, let alone find people to get on and fight with. With Smash 4, I don't need to wait for a friend to be available to fight - I just get on when I have the time, and go fight some people! It's gonna be great, haha.

Most likely not. With the new Smash Bros game coming out, I'll be focusing all my time into that one instead. It'll be the one that everyone is playing and although my love for Project M will never die, I have to move on. Plus, all my friends will be playing Sm4sh as well and they only play Project M when I bring my Wii over to their houses..all of us playing Sm4sh on our 3DSs will be much more convenient and, plus, we can play this one anywhere!

Before Wii U version, yes. Mostly because I'm not gonna be able to play Smash 3DS on the big screen. After the Wii U version.... Probably not. I don't really play competitively, but I play whichever version is most fun for me and my current status with the demo, is that it is much more fun than Project M.

I never played PM, so I can't go back to playing it. Thus, "other."

I also have no fancy opinions on it, either, since I've yet to do anything with it besides watch other people play it on YouTube. Mewtwo in PM is pretty much what I wanted in Smash 4, but I won't be able to play against other people even if I DID get my Wii back from my sister, since I have no internet, either (I just use wifi hotspots).

Smash 3DS it is, for now!

Of course I will. Just because there's a new game, it doesn't make the one's I already have played bad.

Definitely. Smash4 has not impressed me at all so far. Asides from the demo's lack of customizable controls, it feels sluggish and I just don't feel like I'm completely in control of the character I'm using.

With Project M, I at least feel like it's my fault when I screw up. Smash4 feels too much like Brawl for my tastes.

Yes. But not for competitive hardcore melee stuff. More for just hacking tomfoolery. (Still waiting for RWBY based character mods...)

...... also to give Ice Climbers, Lucas, Mewtwo, and Wolf a visit. Ask them how they're doing and telling them that I really miss them.

I don't play Project M. I tried it, and aside from a few little things, the costumes (holy crap the costumes), some of the N64/Melee stages and adding Roy/Mewtwo, I didn't particularly enjoy it. A lot of characters I played in Brawl (or even Melee) felt ridiculous to me and not like anything I wanted to keep playing or get used to. And a lot of moves were changed that I felt had no need for changing and some additions to gameplay were arbitrarily removed just to be like Melee or something.

Just not for me. I'd rather just play the previous, real games (all 3 of them) than play P:M. The only thing I really get frustrated about is how cool the costumes are and how much of a missed opportunity SSB4 is with the costumes.

So when Smash 4 comes out, I will play Smash 4.

However, I will continue to play 64, Melee and Brawl too. Although not as much.

How did you get the roster picture to be on your signature?

Welcome to the Smash 4 board. Where we discuss Smash 4.

The answer to your question lies in the lovely board titled "Project M" which is obviously going to be full of people that answered "Yes."
