Are the CPU's better, the same or worse?

Quite frankly I think they're cheating ********, the whole lot of 'em!

They put up more of a fight, but they are very annoying with perfect blocks and rolling 90% of the time.

better but they are still way too predictable.

They are better but the level 9's are extremely annoying and cheap rather than difficult.

They are completely obnoxious but overall better but not by a huge margin. In four player matches they still seem to gun for you only but they do get off at some points during the fight. They also seem to hold onto 3 part items a lot better than you do but overall I prefer it to brawls shoddy AI.

Than I thought a "A challenger approaches" like Dr. Mario etc.
What. the. Heck?
Did they get buffed as challengers? I swear I needed 3 times to unlock Dr.Mario. I am really confused as I easily destroyed Lvl 9 CPU

The AI is smarter, but still the main challenge of them comes from their reaction times and the precision of their blocks. I'd say they put up a fight, but are still not strong enough for me to ever lose to them in a simple stock match. (I occasionally lose to them as Megaman in the demo, simply because the match sometimes goes to sudden death)
