Are Pichu and Young Link possible additions to the roster?

Disclaimer: I am not joking. When I was younger, I loved Melee. I would always play as Pichu or the Ice Climbers, all the while knowing Pichu was a clone of Pikachu. I played as Young Link a lot too. I just seemed to like the smaller versions of the characters better.

So is it possible that they could get in? I mean, Pichu at least would need major tweaking, but Wario was revamped a lot, so I am sure that Pichu could get revamped to be of the same quality as the others. And hey, adding Pichu and Young Link would make it the ultimate smash game, basically a Collection Trilogy because it would have very character from every game but for competitive play.

I'm really sorry if this has been asked before, or that I'm coming off sounding sort of rude, but I'd just want to know if it's possible anytime soon.

it is been rumored that Pichu might return, tho young link is out of the question i understand, based on that PM toon link was made to resemble both his brawl version and young(fire arrows, milk taunt).
