Smash 3DS Are controls still customizable?

We can't adjust them in the demo, which I understand, but to those who have the full version, I ask: can we set L to shield, R to grab, and turn off the option to tap up to jump?

You can definitely turn tap jump off and as far as I've heard, the other two are both possible as well. Might want to wait for conclusive confirmation on the shield/grab controls though.

Yes, controls are customizable in the full game. They don't have the feature in the demo.

They are customizable, except for the d-pad (it is locked as the "taunt" button, unfortunately).
