Don't you like the stages where you walk, KO-ing enemies and stuff?
I do, and i thought a own game mode will be great.
The levels will be from all series and should be twice as longer than MK in melee.
Levels should have oponents, such as Topi, Goombas and should even have an end boss.
Enemies should get more health as higher the dificulty level should be.
This whould be pretty hard, imagine on Very Hard.
I thought even at some stages:
Level 1- Mushroom Kingdom
Enemies: Goomba, Koopa, Parakoopa.
End Boss: Bowser
Level 2- Yoshi's Story
Enemies: Shy Guys, Yoshis.
End Boss: Yoshi Tribe Leader (Big Yoshi)
Level 3- Hyrule
Enemies: Octorok, Redead, Poe.
End Boss: Dark Link
Level 4- Brinstar
Enemies: Space Pirate, X Parasites, Hornoads.
End Boss: SA- X
Level 5- Pop Star
Enemies: Wadle Dees, Waddle Doos, Gordos, Puncs, Sir Kibbles and Bobo
End Boss- MK
Level 6- Pokemon Arena
Enemies: Pikatchu, Charizard, Squirtle, Ivysaur.
End Boss: Pokemon Trainer (with 3 Pokemons)
Level 7- DK Jungle
Enemies: Those Crocodiles From 64
End Boss: Gigant DK

It sounds to me like you just described the SSE only with less depth and no story.

I thought this thread was going to describe a mode in which you can play characters' original games, or a few classic games. Or...old games revamped! Like, Super Mario Bros. in the Mushroomy Kingdom! :D

That would be astounding, even if it would get the game pushed back by another year.
