Aproaching for dsmash

ok- So I am a pretty noob smash player- play more competitive halo then smash. Mostly ust like to keep up on techniques because tis fun but anyway.

I am having issues approaching for dsmash. All of my approaches seem to result in me getting grabbed or out of range. Suggestions?

There is two ways I think

you nair to relfector to downsmash

or you can roll behind them and then downsmash

I like to run dodge back fsmash, roll twice behind them reflector then dsmash

when i play as wolf i never aproach.i use laser until they aproach and then i never use it again but i could recomend using laser until they aproach and then using the Dsmash.

If you keep constant pressure on ur opponent through shop aerials, you can easily follow one up with a dsmash since you can get in clsoe and have 0 landing lag.
