Hey guys, I need some help with my approach against Ice Climbers. What is the best way to approach them? I see many pro players come in with a shuffled fair into a d-tilt, this is fairlf effective, however it seesms a bit risky because I tend to get grabbed fairly easily when approaching in this way. Any other tips/advice vs Ice Climbers would be much appreciated, thank you.

The f-air to d-tilt and i suppose the double f-air is probably your optimal approach. Your dancing blade is ok out of DD. If you F-smash they'll probably shield and punish the lag, same with the dash attack.

Just space the aerial approaches well and pressure the ICs shield until you get an opening.
Gimp Nana and punish her for existing in general (it's not hard to do this).

Yeah, from my experience (which isn't the best, of course) all you need to do is run around shffl'ing fairs against the ICs. I played Meep awhile ago and won pretty much just by playing hit & run with fairs; it is my belief now that all Ice Climber players only know how to do one thing, and that is wavedash->grab. So... don't use Fsmash, like, at all, because it'll get you grabbed, and thus, *****. If you're getting grabbed out of it, just take the tilt out. That way, when they try to run up and grab you out of the dtilt they think is coming, you can wavedash/dash backwards and hit them with something.

Playing the icies is the only matchup that I've ever played where it seems like you have to abuse your range really bad to be able to beat them. They can just unleash too much nastiness if they get a grab in, so you have to play super defensively to avoid that happening.

sh double fairs are never an optimal approach. Good as a defensive (sh double fair while DIing away), good for comboing, but generally bad for starting anything.
