"application failed to start because msvcp100.dll is missing..."

Every time I boot a game using PJ64KVE, I get the above error; the game will boot if I click OK until the dialog box disappears, but it still drive me insane... Has else anybody had this happen to them? What's going on and how can it be rectified?

EDIT: I just figured out that the error is somehow related to the XBox 360 controller, the controller still functions perfectly, but the error is still worrisome though...

look for the dll online. Search for it and download it. Or reinstall the xbox controller for the computer
