Apparently online is full of spammers.

I have yet to pick the game up, but it seems people are complaining about players spamming.

The thing is that the game is really young. In time we will get better and overcome spamming. Trust me when I say that I know the feeling. I used to play ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 ALL THE TIME.

Eventually I got good at beating spam...and we will too in time.

We will learn how to adept. We will get better.

I faced a Samus that rolled around everywhere and just charged their charge shot the whole time, shot missiles if I was far. It was painful to approach that kind of defense, it will be better in the Wii U version though because of an actual controller.

Spammers? Or characters with Ranged attacks that understand the game and use it to create space.

Samus is mostly ranged, it's pretty normal to be shooting rockets.

There are no spammers, there are only people that don't understand the game, and complain about it here.

Yes, it's full of noobs who spam, but it's not as common as some people exaggerate it to be. There's not even a clear definition of "spammer" either, it's just a stupid buzzword that baddies are pulling out of their asses. There's people who do spam roll, but that's about it and you can punish it if you play smart.

And also those who lose to spammers are bad because they lost to such a crappy and predictable tactic. I've had no problem fighting spammers, although I have lost to a few because I was too slow to adapt.
