Use Mupen64K. I find it runs the game better and has WAY less lag. Not as many people use it but I mainly play with friends anyway.

hmm wrong..maybe?

EGX has lag no mupen or pj64k will make that go away, and as for delay the p2p poplulation is higher then the mupen poplulation plus its just less delay in general so...mupen has no point in my eyes, other then to make isai okaygos best friend O_o <-- joke dont flame...i gota shield :D

Well I've used Project64 (and 64K) for a long time. Both have graphical glitches with Smash and bad lag as well as constant disconnects. Mupen64K emulates it perfectly graphically and I never drop or get lag during matches. It's indescribably smooth.

Project64k has a lot of people who play Smash online so I would really to get that working. I'll send you a message but I know a place you can download a zip file that has Project64k, a plugin so fireballs and shields and such aren't flat, and comes with SSB64 rom. I sent the zip file to a few people and it's worked perfect for them.

the graphic errors can be fixed with a plugin and as for lag i find it the same with both as EGX has lag and DS's (i rarly ds most others =.=) and ive allways used pj64k i guess mupen would be good for people with lower end computers...because like i said just go P2P its a bigger population then Mupen does.

P.S.: I DID WANT TO TRY TO CHANGE YOUR OPINION HA! I LIED SUCKER!...errr yeaaaah <_<>_>

I know it can be fixed, I had the fix. But I don't think people should have to go through that plus like I said the lag is a million times better. Most people online use Project64K but I only play with my friends mostly so we just install Mupen64K because we all find it much better. I have a very fast custom computer and Mupen64K works better in every possible way for me. Keep using what your using and I'll keep using what I'm using. I really don't care.

If you're looking to play with random people just get Project64K but if you're going for quality play with friends get Mupen64K, IMO.

When my friends and both use Project64K, on the same servers, then switch to Mupen64K on those same servers, we get less lag and disconnects. You obviously have no reading comprehension. Both programs have their own net code and some programs handle things like this better, you obviously have NO idea what you're talking about.

I don't know why you insist on dragging this out. If you like something different, fine. Just shut up. You don't even have proper spelling or grammar and your just starting to bug. I'm done with this worthless thread and your an annoying child. Someone has a different opinion, DEAL with it.

I am having the same problem as this guy, and I have 2 gigs of ram in windows xp. Easily enough to run the game.. If anyone has any new solutions to this, please post here. Thanks!
