First of all. sorry if there's a better forum for this, I couldn't find a better one (if you find a better one, let me know)

So, for one of my classes in school, the topic is digital media production. I would like to do something Smash Bros. related, however I do not have and cannot afford a capture card at this point...

I was wondering if someone could friend me on Wii U, allow me to send them a replay of a match (not a typical one, more like a makeshift event match), record it with their capture card and post it on Youtube (preferably under "unlisted") and send me a link so I can download it, make the edits I want to make, and submit it to my teacher.

One request I have in recording it is that you set your sound options to effects only (no music or voices) while recording.

If you're up for it, message me on here and send me a friend request on Nintendo Network, I'll send you the replay after accepting the friend request, then send me the Youtube link and keep it up until I've at least let you know that I have it downloaded.

Or if you can think of an alternative to a capture card, that'd be great too.

Thanks in advance :)

I can record in 720p 60fps. I can record 1080p, but I can only record that at 30fps (Not my computer's fault, my capture card only records 60 if the Resolution is 720p, it's weird).

You can judge for yourself if you think the quality is ok (Just be sure to change the quality to 720p60), but I don't mind helping.

That's great, I'll send you a friend request on Nintendo Network, once accepted, I'll send you the replay, the replay should be a very weird looking match of Pikachu protecting 6 mii fighters from Mewtwo
Thanks :)
Edit: either quality is fine, preferably whichever is faster to load

Alright man, I'll add you about midday tomorrow (About 10 hours from now, it's 2:30am currently here) and record it later on in the day if that's alright? (I've got a few things to do tomorrow) Recording it takes no time at all, and I have a very good upload speed, so it won't take me long to upload no matter how big the video is. I'll upload in 720p60, the quality is still very good, but obviously it'll run smoother for you at 60fps. It should be uploaded tomorrow evening if all goes well. c:

The great thing about consoles is that you don't need more than 3 capture cards to record footage from every console ever made. Handhelds need to be modified because the video and sound input goes to another part of the machine, not into a different one. You can't hook up a few cables to a vanilla GBA and play it on your TV, a Gamecube has audio and video cables running out of it as part of normal operation. Just get a splitter and the correct capture card for your PC and call it good*.

*Assuming that your PC is powerful enough to process the incoming video and audio signal as it comes in with no desync or dropped data.

I've uploaded it, but it's still processing, so I'll like your post when it's up to 720p60fps. c:

Edit: All done c:
