I played Magic a long time ago. I was never very wealthy, so I had to expand my collections simply by trading from the ground up. I couldn't ever really enter tournaments because I was young, had no job, and my mom hated that I played. I had to quit because a soda blew up in my backpack Once Upon A Time and ruined a deck that was filled with valuable cards (foil dual lands and such), about 40% of which were not mine. I had to compensate by giving him my Magic collection.

I'd love to get into it again now, but the person I have to play cards with never really contacts me about events, and I am poor.

@Yiff: There's a store in Alpharetta called "Super Games." It's probably the store to go to for all your TCG'ing needs. Mostly Magic and Yugioh.
