Anyone remember the old Melee microsite?

So I know there's been a lot of talk about Flash game preservation with Flashpoint. Using it, I saw that they have somewhat been able to save old Microsites. I found the old Melee microsite from years ago, and if you have a program that can still run flash, part of it works: https://web.archive.org/web/20020802230233/http://www.smashbros.com/battle/default.asp. Only problem is, clicking on the buttons causing it to endlessly load. I know its a longshot, but anyone know if there's anyway to get it to work?
