If you do, and it works, I've got a request of you. ><

You see, I use the Wii's Wi-Fi with a wireless network. Whenever I go to setup my connection from the Wii, it works just fine, connection tests and all, yet when I actually try to do something with the connection, it doesn't work.

So, If anybody here uses the Wii's Wi-Fi with a wireless network, and has got it to work, I'd like some advice, if you please. >< Sorry in advance if my woes were covered by another topic.

That's standard for Wireles(I've got one), though mine is a floor away from the Wii.
It usually takes me 3 tries to get on an online game.
Just try a few times, wireless connection is really not too stable.

Yeah, my router is about 3 feet from my Wii, so I don't have any problems at all.

Psydon:
It might just be your router. Nintendo had a list on the Wi-Fi site for routers with better compatibility with Nintendo products. Not sure if it's still there, though. Here's the main page: http://www.nintendowifi.com/

My router is on the same floor as my Wii, though at different elevations (Wii is on the floor, router is on top of a dresser), and in adjacent rooms (my room opens into an upstairs den of sorts, which is where the Wii is. My router is in my room). My router is an N-type (which has a very large range), and my laptop can pick up the signal even in the basement (two floors down), so it's rather bizzare why the Wii wouldn't pick it up through a wall.

Tried using the Network Adapter before; that didn't work. ><

I checked the list (it's at support.nintendo.com); my router isn't listed there (Linksys Wireless-N WRT300N).

Mine acts up every once a while and my router is about 20 feet away from my Wii. Usually I just have to try it a few times. Also, make sure your wireless router can handle multiple things using it, because your computer/laptop may be using up the only IP address it can assign.

Remember people, we discuss Brawl in the Brawl discussion boards, there are plenty of different places on the forum to discuss other things!
