Haha..I suck so bad at ice skating it's not even funny.

Two times I have got hurt ice skating.

One time I was skating and didn't know how to stop and flew over the bar and on to the net that was behind the net. i then couldn't get up and all my friends just sat their and laughed at me and I couldn't move.

The second time I got to go with friend to a 'private' ice rink. There was this ugly chick who was trying to show off to some guy and starts to do tricks. Remember, I don't know how to stop..And all the sudden I am going head on and she doesn't see me for some reason. I then slide and she jumped doing a twirl thing and I looked up and I swore I would never ice skate again.:urg:

On the blue planet next to the sun, can't miss it!
I actually got thrown out of a wheelchair while ice skating.

My hamstrings had been operated on earlier that month, and out of the blue my cousins decide to go ice skating. So we get there, I get wheelchair ice blade thingies, and we start having fun. Now, my cousin at this point is hooting and hollering like an idiot as am I. He stops real suddenly, and tips the wheelchair forward I get thrown about a foot from where the wheelchair was.

Now don't worry, we pick on each other like that all the time and luckly I was able to laugh about it.

I was skateboarding down a hill (I got up to 140 in my car driving on it :D).

On my skate I only got to 48 mph before I crashed.
I was dripping blood all over south salem, hiding from the ambulance (I don't have insurancE!)
I ran to the quickie mart and bought a 40 of miller then used some herbal rememdies to fix the pain.

I had road rash covering my entire body, it was so fun.

If you live in salem it's called "booyah hill" right in front of Sprague.

Hahaha! You did not go down Booyah hill, did you?

For those that are not familiar with Booyah hill, which is everyone but like 12 people on smashboards, here is a picture.

Now, you have to imagine, this isn't an aerial shot. This taken on the lower part of the hill mirroring Booyah hill. The picture is looking straight on at the hill...that's how steep it is.

...by the way, zapdos, the creater of this thread was refering to ice skating not skateboarding.

It looks like a boy but Zelds's a girl so it's a never ending argument of nothing in other words WHAT'S THE POINT?

I was never physically hurt at a skating rink (ice or roller).

I was emotionally, though.

The first time I asked a girl out was at a rollerskating rink. I was turned down flat. I think I was 10 years old, and she was very confused about what was going on.

We did skate around together, although we weren't officially dating. Hehe, good times.

I've embarassed myself at ice rinks cause I suck, but never been hurt. But here's a nice story..

I used to work at Disney On Ice as a vendor. Those people that walk around the stands selling popcorn/cotton candy/lights before showtime and during intermission? That was me. Well, I was working on the Princess Wishes tour, and there's a part of the Little Mermaid act where they bring out this see saw, a stand, and a guy has a vest on and inserts a pole into the front of it. This pole extends about 15 feet in the air and has a chair on top. Two people climb onto the stand, while a guy stands on the see saw, with the chair guy behind him. What's supposed to happen is the two people jump, and the guy gets launched into the air, doing a backflip, and lands in the chair. They do this half a dozen times a day, with no bungee cords or anything, though they do have three people that stand by to catch the guy if he misses. (The people that do this stunt used to do it on a Tarzan ice show in monkey suits)

I don't remember what city we were in, might have been Nashville, but it was the second show of the day, and they get all ready to do it. The guy launches, does the backflip, and lands on the very edge of the chair, too short to stick his landing, and falls forward. The way he hit the front of the chair, his body flattened out as he fell, and the people tried to catch him but failed apparently, as he smashed his face on the ice. Broken nose, blood everywhere, he doesn't move for a few seconds. It was horrible. A group of skaters stayed crowded around the spot where he fell to hide the puddle of blood on the ice until it was cleaned up.

They took an intermission due to this, and my operator (the guy I sold show lights for.. there are many of them that have vendors in the stands working for them), decided it was a good idea to go out and try to sell princess flags to the kids during this time. Well every other operator had wisely told their vendors not to go out, and I certainly didn't want to. Who wants to have merchandise thrown in their face after seeing that happen? But, nonetheless I skulk out into the arena with a bunch of pink and blue flags, and one of the managers came sprinting toward me waving his arms and yelling at me to get the hell out of the stands.

Good times.
