Anyone else notice something about the special moves?

I hope i'm not posting in the wrong place, but has anyone else noticed how for almost all the
characters except link only have 3 or even 2 moves? It's very strange. If you have any idea
why tell me because i'm clueless.

Jag förstår inte. Vad sa du?
Maybe because those are the only moves Sakurai's TELLING us...he doesn't have to reveal all four moves, ya know...

And something tells me that if this thread lives, it will be moved to the General Brawl discussion...

yeah, it's just I'm curious about some moves, like Sonic's standard special ya know?
Yeah, it sucks that Sakurai won't spill it sooner...but it's his call...if he wants to make the entire smash community march up to his front door and point guns at him to get answers, then he's welcome to do so...

How 'bout a quick topic change...what about we get some more people in here and discuss ideas for what those unrevealed moves should be...though there's probably already a thread for that...here's my first proposal: Sonic's neut-B may be the "Sonic Wind", which would play out kinda like Meta Knight's neut-B, but there could be subtle differences...

Must.. hold back urge.. to point out the obvious..

Maybe because he hasn't shown them to us yet? :psycho:

Would he rather show us them all in one update, or show us 2 or 3 at a time, so he can save the other for another filler update?

It's really quite obvious..

EDIT:

Sonic's Neautral B move is his Homing Attack. We know that already.

Diddy Kongs B-Down makes him drop a Banana Peel, and his B-Side make his pummel his opponents face.

Is that not what I said? C'mon, Pluvia, join us in our speculation...I know you have ideas:grin:

EDIT: I meant move speculation...not why Sakurai isn't telling us moves...that's obvious...

@Connor: that works, too...

Good suggestions...

Oh, here's another one (yes...I'm bored...):

Squirtle's neut-B should be water gun...like a water version of Flamethrower/Bowser's flame
Ivysaur's side-B should be Razor Leaf...it could work like Chikorita's
Charizard's up-B should be Fly...it would work like Pit's

...Man, I'm bored...

*face palm*...duh!...They were in the videos, weren't they? ...I gotta pay more attention...
I think the homing attack was, I'm not to sure about Diddy's.

But IGN told us them. :)

Btw, I completely agree with you on PT attacks.

EDIT:

Sonic is also an interesting fighter, as he has a ton of seeking moves. A regular special attack sends him spinning into the air at what seems to be the nearest character, delivering a combo of hits in the process. Pushing up and special will make use of the classic Sonic springboard, jumping off a randomly-appearing spring pad, pushing Sonic higher into the air than any other fighter we've seen in the Smash series.

Over there
First of all the reason Sakurai isn't giving us info on all the character's moves is we already know the moves of the Vetrerans. How about Wario's Up B is him farting to send him up in the air in a sort of upward spiral. This wouldn't do any damage but the gas could stay there for a while making it harder to see.

I didn't see Diddy's moves in the video, but I did see Sonic's homing attack, but I didn't see
the videos until late last night.

Its only the moves Sakurai isnt telling us about, or didnt feel like updating. All four of Fox's special moves have been revealed already.

Sonic is the new Jigglypuff with all that spinning...cept lack of sleep and rest.

Lucas I would like to see him use his PK Shield as a shield instead of a bubble.

Luigi's vacuum should spit out water, fire and ice and suck people towards him. That way he was see who the better sucker is! Kirby's mouth or Luigi's vacuum! (that will be a fun picture to take!)
