Smash Wii U Anyone else notice a little sparkle when fast falling in the WiiU version?

Sorry for the repost if that's what this is, but I just found it interesting: After a short hop, initiating a fast fall will cause a little sparkle thing to appear near the characters' heads, kind of like the one that you get in their eyes when selecting a character.

Yeah, it's a nice touch. Am I wrong to think it was in the 3DS version as well? I can't remember, but I seem to have memory of that...

I think it might be with an attack. I can't tell for sure atm.

This could be a potential shout out to the N64 version, where the same thing happened when fastfalling. I noticed it too and it feels exactly like that haha

it is in both versions and it happens whenever you fastfall. shorthop, whilst attacking , etc. youll get the sparkle just like smash 64

I noticed it yesterday when practicing fast falling from Sh with Lucina and marth doing a neutral air. The timing on that move is not as easy as I thought it would be to master.
