Anyone else hate these type of players?

These are the worst of the worst players. I don't even mind the rage and swap to little mac type of players.

I meet them online 24/7, they're the people that once you beat their ass, they get ready instantly. But the moment you get beaten, they never press start and leave their 3ds alone until the timer automatically takes them into the game. That is so ****ing annoying, I swear. I never do that to ANYONE, and the minute they do that to me, I just leave my 3ds alone and use my comp and wait for the timer to kick me in the game.

And saving your replays doesn't take 20 seconds unless you're using a class .5 sd card, in this case, everyone I go against is.

Why does this annoy you? Would it also annoy you if they never lost and waited the timer out before half of the matches?

I... don't see why this is annoying. Maybe they have other quick things to do, for example, reply to a text message, and they don't feel obligated to rush to the game because that's "the proper thing to do".

Who cares. This is such a minor grievance, Did you have a lot to do in those 30 seconds? You can leave a match at any time. Also people have things to do, I often vary when i ready because sometimes i want to practice a combo right before the game, and sometimes i'm checking on food in the oven. Not everything a player does is to intentionally piss you off, but if it was it's working and it probably makes you angered and a worse smash player.

I've also put in the thought that they might need to do something, but I guess a lot of smash players very busy.

And notice, I wrote that the players do this after I get my butt handed by them but when I win, they always ready up. Happens all the time.

The mind is a very strong thing. Don't be so paranoid

Players that do bm stuff to piss me you off are always considered scumbags in my opinion. So I can't agree that I hate them but can agree that they should go back to playing cod/minecraft/whatever other ****ty game they play.

It's surprisingly annoying how not being able to go to the next battle can be. I grew angry at Rage quitting CPU's being so not instantaneous to KO one time.

It annoys me, but it's not something I want to rid the world of. Afterall, I do it once in a while, not intentionally of course. Maybe I'll run to the bathroom real quick, or send a text between matches. Not everyone is 100% devoted 100% of the time, you have to forgive these instances. Similarly, if you hate something, you will tend to notice when it happens more often, and not when it doesn't, so I doubt it's a 24/7 problem.

Yeah honestly this is just human nature. Sometimes when i lose i ready up immediately because i wanna jump right back in and redeem myself, where as if we haven't played yet or i just won i'll look around for what character i want to choose. Although i agree with rawkstar, you are choosing to remember the times it happens because it annoys you, but you aren't focusing on the times that it doesn't. Not letting players into your head is the name of the game, if you're that easy to frustrate you will never succeed at deeper competitive levels if all the opponent has to do is let the timer run a little bit to get you playing out of anger.

It's sad that people get this upset over these things, to be honest. I just don't understand what's so unbearably frustrating about waiting less than a minute to get into a match.

Sorry, I just think that's an incredibly annoying habit. I don't mind them using the 40 seconds during battles, but when they show a pattern like that, I get annoyed.

It's understandable especially if you have been encountering this problem frequently as of recent. I'd probably blow a fuse myself if I had to come to face with your situation more than once. xD

Like what SwoodGrommet said, don't think too much about the situation. The person on the other line might be busy finishing up a text or microwaving a meal or something of that like. So much happening in this busy world - heck, I find myself distracted too even while battling!

I played a guy few days ago that was waiting the end of the timer each time.
The first 2 games i though he was choosing his character, but he picked Ness everytime. Then it started to be annoying, because i felt like he was doing this only to annoy me. I mean, is that possible to be busy exactly the time between each games, each time? I didn't leave because I though maybe he would finish what he was doing and would show me that he didn't mean to be annoying...

You can be busy for few seconds between games, no problem, but if you wait the end of the timer each time it's really disrespectfull. Don't play if you don't wanna play, just leave.

Waiting isn't annoying, what is annoying is that you feel like the guy is waiting just to annoy you, but it's not the end of the world, just...annoying.

I don't mind if they take the whole 40 seconds before the start of a match. I can use all that time to play around with the training dummies to build up my skills a bit until they're ready.

I hate when they lose and sit in that screen forever because I want to beat their ass again even faster the next time

It seems like this forum is full of idiots. Maybe you guys should reread the entire thread and my posts.
