I found that if you have multiple controllers plugged in and if you hit start/+ on two of them at once then it counts as pressing start for all controllers. Saves time, especially if you're a sad sack like me with four controllers by himself.

Didn't know the precise activation conditions, but yes, I was aware that it would close 'em all at once.

also if you click and hold the left or right stick down and press start before you look at results it is like pressing start on all of the controllers too.
