Anyone double shine with analog stick?

I know a few people double shine this way, if you do, can you give me some tips on how to? I end up pivoting in shine because i'm trying to be fast.

P.S. i know about the thumb twitch thing with Y/B but i don't like that, i do all jumps with analog and X.

After shining just tap upwards, then shine again after the stick is back to it's neutral position.

But TBH, it's better to shine grab.

I just want to doubleshine to change it up now and then. I'll this method out.

shine > tap up> shine after it's in neutral.

You don't try to smash the stick up and down?

I do that with Falco, but with Fox it messes my timing when it hits something.
